Reunion -- October 19,2019 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The Woman's Club has been reserved for Saturday and Sunday to provide a place for everyone to visit with classmates during the day without the need for a pre-paid reservation. Details are below. Dinner will be Saturday night in the "dance hall" on the second floor. Reservations for dinner are mandatory because there is a limit of 70 people. If we have not received a retainer from you before we reach the limit of paid registrants, you will be "wait-listed" when your money is received. Final Payment Deadline is September 15. Once we reach the maximum of 70 paid registrations after that date you will be wait-listed and notified as soon as space is confirmed. Schedule of Events
OtherCheck back here in early October for parking instructions. There is not parking at the Woman's Club. We will have equipment for playing vinyl (33s and 45s), cassettes and CDs. Please bring your music favorites from the 60s We are planning to set up exhibits of art work and music featuring members of the class. We will provide material for mounting artwork, tables for laying out your publications or manuscripts, and sculpture. Please bring any snapshots of you with classmates from your school years. We will have space to mount them for viewing. [NOTE: Framed artwork or family pictures will not be exhibited but, by all means, bring your personal family photos to share with friends.] If you are a musician and would like to play a short gig as part of the program, that would be terrific. Several of our classmates have died; time will be set aside for remembrances during the evening. If you have a story to share but cannot present it in person, please write it up and send it to the committee for a classmate to read. A list of our deceased class members is at: http://www.lwmtechnology.com/abrhs-64/memorium64.htm with links to obituaries or notices for some. A draft of the 2014 Class Book will be mailed to everyone for whom we have a valid email address on August 26th. If you want current information to be included but have not sent us information, go to this link and complete the information on the screen http://www.lwmtechnology.com/abrhs-64/contact-registration-2014.htm. When you are finished scroll to the very bottom and click the Submit Contact Update button. We will get it and will edit your new information into a final version of the book. If you have not yet received an email from the planning committee it is because we do not have a current email address for you. Please update us by sending an address to: Class of 1964 committee or fill out the form at http://www.lwmtechnology.com/abrhs-64/contact-registration-2014.htm. Check the "Contact Update" box and include your current contact information. If you do not have an email address of your own, please include that of a friend or relative who can receive messages for you. We will be sending messages over the next couple of months and without an email address, the USPS mailings will be limited. EMAIL ADDRESS IS VERY IMPORTANT. We sent a USPS mailing to everyone for whom we did not have an email address but future updates will be sent by email. We are missing emails for many of you. If you fill out the contact form, be sure to include an email address for yourself, even if you are not sure about attending the reunion. Some benefactors are helping with contributions and offers to help. Please reach out via the form if you need assistance with attending the reunion and we will try to make it happen. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ABRHS Class of 1964 45th Reunion was a Success On October 10th we enjoyed the company of about 200 ABRHS Alumni, mostly from classes graduating in the 60s. It was hosted by the Class of '69 and roughly 30 from the Class of 1964 attended. We were seated by class and enjoyed conversation over dinner, followed by a lot of dancing and mingling with other classes. Our brunch on the 11th at the Acton Center Women's Club was a very relaxing way to keep the conversation flowing and included a few siblings of our classmates. The atmosphere of an old historic home was perfect for visiting and reviving memories of "old times" like the dancing lessons many attended in the building. The overwhelming number of comments about the 50th, from those who did attend (and those who did not but sent greetings) this year has us planning already. Here is what you need to do to stay in the loop and have your personal interests considered as we plan:
